Global Organisation
This project was quite interesting due to the complexity of organizing the team. Without a tech designer on Unity, we had to split tasks related to it and reduce the weight of the mechanics.
We recycled a lot of features that had already been completed to save time on more difficult tasks that required a lot of work.
During this project, I wanted to try some techniques I had read about to improve the quality of meetings.
· “The Bullshit Buzzer”
The idea of this technique is to use an object, ideally a bull figurine, to humorously signal when the conversation drifts off-topic.
But we quickly stopped it because people got offended when the bull was shaken.
· “Affinity Diagrams & Multivoting during Brainstorming"
During a brainstorming session, we write each idea on a flipchart and regroup them by theme. We then discuss them and make votes.
We tried this because we needed to quickly identify our main idea, and in previous projects, we had taken too long.
This technique was a success. I even use it now when brainstorming needs to be quick.
